Head of Human Resources

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned HR leader to head the Human Resources function at
Manubhai Jewellers, overseeing a workforce of ~500 employees across our showrooms
and corporate office. This is a senior, outcome-driven role — not an execution role. You
will own the people strategy, lead a team of HR professionals, and act as the single
point of accountability for all HR verticals.

What You'll Own

• HR Strategy – Align people strategy with business goals; drive org design and manpower planning.
• Team Leadership – Lead and govern the HR team across Recruitment, Payroll & Compliance, HR Operations, PMS, Training, and Culture.
• Payroll & Compliance – Ensure accuracy, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF), and audit readiness.
• Talent Acquisition – Oversee hiring quality, timelines, and workforce planning across all departments.
• PMS & Performance Culture – Own the performance management framework and ensure disciplined execution.
• Training & Development – Drive capability building across sales and non-sales teams.
• Engagement & Culture – Lead engagement strategy and translate feedback into real action.
• HRMS & Process Excellence – Champion HR-One adoption and simplify HR workflows.
• Budget Ownership – Plan and manage HR budgets across recruitment, training, engagement, and operations.
• Decision-Making Authority – Final sign-off on HR policies, team structure, escalations, and HR communications.

What We're Looking For

• 10–15 years of HR experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large, multi-functional HR teams (300+ employee base preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with HRMS platforms (HR-One or similar)
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  MBA / PGDM in HR; certifications (SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
• Exposure to retail or showroom environments is an advantage.
